WTB Pacific Scientific (Gadringer) 5th point strap by
JS
Looking to put a 5th point into a Schleicher.
Currently a Pacific Scientific 4-point harness. Would be OK with a complete Schroth 5-point harness.
6-point solutions also considered. Have seen a few on auto racing supply websites, but unsure of the (physical) installation logistics.
Thanks,
Jim

Selling Micro-Castle/Pickup by
[email protected]
All,
I'm also selling my Micro-Castle camper and Ford F-150 pickup combination. As many on the contest circuit saw, this was a pretty nice setup for glider contests, as it provided a pretty luxurious camper on site, plus a capable crew vehicle. The camper has a full bathroom and shower,...

Tail dolly hazard by
Andy[_1_]
The July issue of SSA Soaring magazine has a cover photo that shows at least 3 unattended gliders with the tail dolly left on. In Arizona you'd get an earfull for doing this as it puts any other glider within half a wing span at risk.
Maybe it doesn't matter at soaring sites where there are no...

XC Pilots - is this fair ? by
KiloKilo[_2_]
John Carlyle came up a little short on the local G-CUP race - and made an off-field landing in a local horse farm near PGC. The ponies took a liking to his glider and the crew car ... covering both with a nice coat of equine saliva.
John now has to suffer through publication of his mishap like...

spot by
[email protected]
After I hit tracks (foot mark) my spot just flashes red, with no tracks being sent. Fresh batteries, clear view of the sky, turning it on and off again make no difference. Has anyone experienced this? Any way to wake it up, or is it busted and just get a new one?
Thanks
John Cochrane

Oudie 5.19 Bug by
Lauren
Oudie 5.19 has a bug that does not allow you to type in waypoint names. Naviter said the bug will be fixed soon, but I woudl advise holding off on updating till the problem is fixed.

LAK-12 polar for SN10B by
GE
Hello,
Anyone have a good set of points to indoctrinate an SN10B on the ways of a LAK-12?
I cannot quite get the numbers I need from the LAK owner's manual, and the polar is not included in the canned bunch that comes with the ILEC. Nimbus II is close, I suppose, but I'd like to get it...

Sage Vario by
[email protected]
Will trade a 2 1/4 sage vario in excellent condition for a Cambridge 303, any takers? I have what looks like a 303 that was connected to my Cambridge 20 and an Lnav but it seems that it will not work with my 302.

Tow rope certification by
bobmckellar
I recently heard, from a usually reliable source, that after a recent launch incident, the FAA investigators wanted to see the operation's "certification" for their tow rope.
Is this certification a legal requirement? If so, how do you go about getting one?
Thanks,
Bob McKellar

SZD Standard Class Glider by
[email protected]
I own a Jantar 41 a 1976 and it is the only glider I can fly 9 hrs in comfort, find it great at speeds, very stable and solid in aerobatics. Yes, it does look great in the air and on the ground. Glad to have it.
