Good Publicity by
Simon Waddell
The glider is an ASW 20 and the picture is a cut and paste job that first
appeared on the cover of Sailplane & Gliding in the UK. Until a year ago,
the glider was based at Booker in the UK; it may still be for all I know.

Robert Kronfeld book by
Simon Waddell
I'm looking for a copy of "Kronfeld on Gliding and Soaring" by Robert
Kronfeld; I guess it was published in the late 30s or early 40s.
Anybody got a copy to sell or know where I might find one?

'CORE has two separate FLARM radio transceivers FLARM A and FLARM B. FLARM A is used to receive and transmit and must always be connected to an antenna. FLARM B is only used to receive, an optional antenna may be used for better...

Blanik Sport Canopy by
sisu1a
I'm sure it's been posted here before, but I just found this video of
a Blanik participating in a skydiving stunt and it made me wonder
about flying Blaniks with the 'sport canopy' mod as in this video.
Anyone know the specific performance penalties or of any aerodynamic
quirks from this...

address for it, or any info I would appreciate being in the know, as
I'm sure many others would (in case they are as lame as me and have
not found it...
