I need to do a short test run on my ventus 2cxm engine. The fuselage is on its cobra dolley in my garage, and I can wheel it into my driveway and tie the tail to a post. I'm nervous about this, in case there is some pitfall I haven't considered. Has anyone done an engine test run like this?

Any ideas on best material to line a fuselage cradle. If carpet? wool.synthetic? Best adhesive to stick it down?

I need to replace my zig-zags on the horizontal stabilizer, but I would need to know the required position cordwise (upper and lower surface). I took it off and cleaned before having a look at the maintainace manual - which does not give any info on the topic... :-( Any ideas ? Bert TW
