Boycott the airfield. When fuel sales plummett and FBOs lose money,

Jay Honeck-Ercoupe on a roof by
[email protected]
Hey Jay! We found an Ercoupe mounted on the roof of a gas station in
Wautoma, Wisconsin. I thought of you and your hotel immediately, of course.
Maybe you could do something similar. I'll post photos I took of it on
alt.binaries.pictures.aviation.

2 deg. C too high by
Grandmaster
I just replaced an old probe and receiver for a Digital Davtron 301c.
My old one started reading cabin temp and I simply replaced it
altogether (probe and receiver). My new one seems to read 2 deg. C too
high. Any ideas? The probe is hard-wired from the factory (so, the
probe is correct). The...

broken ground wire by
Matt
Hello everyone.
I was looking under the cowling of the 152 the other day, and I noticed that
the ground wire from the left magneto was broken. The end of it looked like
it was frayed and burned. However, when I did a mag check I got the normal
RPM drop on each magneto. I also was able to...

Flap/aileron don't line up -- always a problem? by
Ben Jackson
My Comanche seems to fly straight, no heavy wing (without fuel imbalance)
and make book speeds. With the autopilot on in smooth air, and enough
right rudder trim to center the ball, the left flap and aileron line up.
The right flap and aileron do not. The flap is about 1/2" lower. The
aileron...

Photos of Hanna Unintentional Airpatch by
RST Engineering
Here are photos of the place I told you about that is up for grabs.
http://www.theroopouch.com/house_airport.htm
If I had 350K, I'd buy it in a pair of seconds. I wonder if there is any
wisdom in re-doing the place into a timeshare arrangement. That heated
garage would be one hell of a place...

any way to get faa data quicker? by
dlevy
I need installation data from other planes for a 337. I've already ordered
the information on the particular N number via CD. The website implies you
can download the information.
Has anyone been able to accomplish that?

scan aircraft log to CD by
Dave Butler
I'm sure some of you here have scanned your logs into a machine readable format.
Please let me take advantage of what you've learned.
Do you store the scanned pages as .jpg, or .pdf, or something else?
Each page a separate file?
Any special software?
Did you build an index? If so, how?
