US glider import numbers by
Bob C[_2_]
I'm putting together a business plan. Can anyone answer the following:
1. How many glider pilots are there in the US? In the world?
2. How many gliders are registered in the US?
3. How many new gliders came into the country in 2006? 2007? 2008?
4. How many of these were motorgliders?

Win Pilot Wind readout by
RDC
Hi,
I have just loaded Win Pilot ver10.02 and it works just fine except I get no wind calculation regardless of how much circling I do.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
I loaded the program on a second IPAQ with the same issue.

SN10B for sale by
Dick[_3_]
SN10B for sale with Garmin GPS. I just bought a beautiful 2001 model
Discus 2 B equipped with the SN10. I have had Cambridge equipment
since the C Nav first came out and as they say “old dogs don’t learn
new tricks”. I plan to replace the SN10 with a Cambridge 302. I will
sell it to the best...

Opening weekend for the Cherokee by
Tony Condon[_2_]
I've been slow to get airborne this year. I moved to Wichita in Feb. and
the glider came down at the end of March. I managed to break the canopy
while doing the annual so first thing was to put new polycarbonate (Lexan)
on the frame. That turned out well, then I decided it was time for a...

Alby's journey continues (attn: EPSS/El Paso!) by
Mike the Strike
Thunderstorms blocked attempts to fly Alby from Tucson, Arizona to
Moriarty, New Mexico all weekend. Drier air eventually cleared a
southerly route east and Tuno and his ASG-29 set off into blue skies
around noon on Sunday bound for El Paso, Texas. Once he was east of
Tucson, conditions improved...
