I've recently started flying a Ventus2. I can't rig the thing without a lot of struggle. The trouble is, there's a cover above the spars and you can't see anything once the first wing is in. I struggle to get the second wing to fit, never knowing whether it's a bit too high or a bit too low....

I'd appreciate hearing advice on the best visual clues for getting the wings on a Ventus 2c aligned when rigging.

Recently acquired a Ventus Bt that may need the rudder cables replaced. Are the cables available from the dealer or factory? Or can they be made up by an AI/AP? Are there tricks for doing the replacement?

Ran into my friendly A+P, AI today. While checking for current/proposed AD's for my upcoming annual, he said he saw a proposed AD for mass ballast from Schemp-Hirth. I have not heard of this, and will start googling as soon as I post to ras.

This instructions for this AD refer to a Feb 2020 Maintenance Manual amendment, in case an access hole has to be cut. Has anyone had sight of this amendment yet?
