Chinese sailplanes...? by
Robert Bates
OK, folks - got a question here. Are there any sailplane manufacturers in
China? I have found obscure FAA references to a Shenyang HU-1 Seagull and
HU-2 Petrel, but nothing more on the actual gliders other than a reference
to the Shenyang Sailplane Factory on a German historical aviation...

RSVP --- NOT! by
Jack
So you see, folks, from this recent spate of posts including our infamous
jerk, Lennie the Lurker, there is no justification for responding to him in
any way on the NG.
Please, if you wish to make the fore-doomed attempt to convert him to some
sort of rationality, do so in private email.
He...

Scott
Does anyone have a transceiver for sale? I don't need anything new, just
something cheap and easy that I can carry for starting cross country flying.
If anyone has any leads, please tell me.

Parachute advice by
Clive Hadley
Can someone provide me with advice on buying a comfortable
parachute?
I suffer from a long back and therefore have difficulty
in getting
low down in the glider.
This also leads me to ask if any one has got any good
advice on where to buy one?
Many thanks for your time

Appropriate punishment for airspace violations? by
Stewart Kissel
I just finished reading the news account of the light
plane pilot who buzzed the Statue of Liberty and interfered
with LaGuardia traffic. In our post Sept 11 era, with
enough of the public jittery about aircraft, this sort
of behavior is just putting nails in our coffin IMHO.
Any idea what sort of...

Cobra Trailer Question by
Deputy Dog
OK, I give up. What are those two black nylon latches? at the back of
a Cobra trailer? They are on the inside at the back end just below
the slot that the wing dolly side support runs in. They have four
detents (pointed up, pointed down, pointed forward, and pointed
rearward.)
I thought they...

GENESIS 2 RECOMMENDATION by
Gordon Schubert
Actually, the L33 has one of the roomier cockpits around.
It was a little tight for me but wasn't bad. It was
a lot better than some others that I tried. Anyway,
I thought I got a great deal on a virtually new glider
that I could keep outside. I wanted more performance
and a glider with a large...
