Glider Pilot Ground School - March 11, Dulles Virginia by

Dave Seymour of Glider Pilots Ground School has agreed to offer his
course on March 11th in Dulles, Virginia. This is a one day course
that guarantees students will pass their glider written (PPL/G $180,
CPL/G $200, CFI/G $200). Out of ~2500 students all but three have

Tubercles lower stalling airspeed? by

claims that the tuburcles on the leading edge of whale fins actually
improve efficiency in fluid by lowering stall speed. I expect someone
here might have a good sense if this has any likelihood of working.
