What is the current thinking on what works better, electric vs. pneumatic TE compensation? I've got an S80 vario which can use either. Dave

Concorde - join the campaign by Z Goudie
At 19:48 03 June 2006, Benbo wrote: It was not feasible at $2 a gallon, so what makes you think it will fly at $3 a gallon? It takes money, not signatures. Now if every government in the world taxed aviation fuel at the UK road gas rate of 70% we'd not only save

Bad Spot URL in Glideport by Z15
Trying to get a club member's SPOT registered with glideport. I keep getting the message "Bad URL" when I paste his publicly available shared URL into the list of available trackers. Also tried pasting it to his account on the SSA as a belt and suspenders approach, but we're still not seeing a...

FlarmNet targets on Oudie 2 by zach yama
Hello, I recently installed a PowerFLARM in my ship. I have the Flarm box connected to an SN10B and my Oudie 2 reviving Data from the SN10B. I have not had any issues with the Flarm and ADS-B targets being displayed (with their Hexadecimal code) on either the SN10B or the Oudie, but have not yet...

Glider Graphics by Zahradnik
At the 2004 regionals at Parawon, I briefly saw a self launching glider with really attractive graphics down the side of the fuselage. I don't think that the pilot was entered in the contest, but he launched with the grid one day. Does anyone: Know this glider? Know how to contact the owner?

Amazing facts by ZASoars
Doug , It's a thought that many glider pilots have flown sailplanes the equivalent of many times around the earth during their soaring careeers ( engineless). I have a mere 3000+ hours and that includes about 85000miles cross-country ( or more than 2 times around the world). There are as you know...
