Fredricksburg # 711 reporting by
TomnKeyLargo
I showed up in Fredricksburg on Sunday mornin and pulled the weather all the
way from Uvalde. Like it rained most of the way. I believe it rained so hard on
Monday that the Frio river overflowed and caused part of the interstate to shut
down. Anyway, they were not flying and I left on Sunday...

TomnKeyLargo
Well the contest is over. Last nite we had the awards and dinner. This was a
good and hard test for this years Open Class and 18 Meter Nationals. Uvalde
weather gods did serve up a challenge for all pilots and the CD. Other than
several, well, slow tows, behind one Cessna, the towpilots and launch...

The ad even says available this fall. Its on Jet Cat USA web page, and its a

and the Jet Cat P200 now produces 50 lbs of thrust. There are...

Hobbs Day 5 7-08 # 711. by
TomnKeyLargo
At the pilots meeting today, the CD pushed back grid time to 12:30 and the
pilots meeting in the front of the grid to 12:45. This is a big help to all as
we do not launch so early and grind around for several hours with 100 degree
cockpit heat before the start. Yesterday the high alitude was around...

and the lift in the Hobbs area was simply lousy. A MAT for all classes was
called with Jal the first turn, but that was changed to Seminole as the first
turn for all classes. Sports got a 2.5 hr time, Standard was 3...
