Connection of second microphone by
yuval
Hello,
I was asked to add a second mic to our Twin Astir (it has mic only on
the front seat), can someone give an idea on how should I connect it?
can I just connect it in parallel to the existing one?
Thanx,
Yuval

What is the current thinking on what works better, electric vs. pneumatic TE compensation? I've got an S80 vario which can use either.

Odp: SZD 56-2 DIANA by
Yurek
Wellcome Frank !
Finally we can read somebody, who knows something about the subject...
:-)))
A little precision about polish gliders life time policy:
All SZD-gliders had at the beginning 1200 or 1500 hours service life
time. It doesn't mean a lot, because today the Junior (SZD-51-1) has
10 000...

Diana-2 : next step by

However the certification process is not yet fulfilled, the new

in the Polish Championship of the Open class.
On its board, Janusz Centka won the title !

Sorry Michel, but I have to disagree completely with you. Polish
products (gliders as well, as other stuff) HAS NOT to be cheap,
because they are Polish ! They only have to be competitive...
That's why, there are some not expensive Polish gliders, like Junior

Hi Michel,
Concerning the pricing, it is obvious that a Ferrari performance can
not be sold with a Fiat price.
For details you should take a look on the site of US-dealer of Diana,
Jerry Zieba - http://www.dianasailplanes.com/ or write to :
You will find the...

trailers: fiberglass vs. metal by
Yuliy Gerchikov
What is the conventional wisdom on fiberglass top trailers? I've never had
any experience with one. Should I keep it this way and stay away from it by
all means? Or is it OK, really, and not much worse than Al top? How long do
they last and how much maintenance require? What are the pros and cons...

Does anyone know the background on this website?
www.soaringmarket.com
1)is it a fairly new site?
2) what country hosts it?
3) is it directed at a particular regional area?
It appears to be very easy to use, but wasn't sure if it gets much

Bell No-Mor Flats in Tailwheel by

Has anyone tried using the "Bell No-Mor Flats" foam rubber material in a
tail wheel tire as a safety backup. It looks like the 1.75" diameter
cut to the correct length might be a good safety backup if the tail
wheel tire gets punctured.
