PW-5 Canopy jettison adjustment by
Mark Zivley[_3_]
Greetings,
While doing some minor maintenance, the canopy of the PW-5 that I was working on auto jettisoned it's canopy on the ground. Others around said this was a somewhat known issue and this had happened before after a firm landing.
I noticed there are 3 contact points between the support...

New BGA awards? by
Mark Defendi
How many 300s, 500s or diamond heights have you done?
We all do these tasks maybe many many times, but would it be nice if say
when. You do 50 300s or 25 diamond heights there should be a new award?
Maybe a diamond with some scrambled egg underneath the badge or say for
300s and 500s maybe ...

MH4 oxy flowmeter by
Ian Cant[_5_]
After a couple of years parked, my flowmeter has lost its ball. I think
it's just stuck at the bottom of the tube. Needle valve still regulates
oxy flow, but no way to read the rate. Is this common, is it fixable, or
must I replace the unit?

-if you are not with her, CALL!
-if you forgot... ouch! You know she's grabbing the "keys" to your glider for the next week! No soaring for you! ;-)

Hello from New Mexico by
Robert[_7_]
Hi all. I have started building a larger plane but due to health issues at age 71 I though maybe I should rachet it down some. I have only flown c 172's and a Piper Warrior. So I bought the plans for the Sands and am wondering if I should make the tube fuselage or the wood one. My skills are wood...

Apis M Owners by
Frank Sanches
Hello, my name is Frank and I recently bought an Apis M 15m 2005 with 300tt hours and 40 engine hours. The glider is very new.
Does someone has any tips to give me about this glider, and if it's easy or some particular thing in flight? I just flew gliders, this is my first motorglider.
Thanks...

For Sale: Gap Tape by
Thomas Johnson[_3_]
One day use gap tape for sale.
40 rolls for $45 (postage paid)
(USA sales only)
This tape is not as good as the
$6 to %15 a roll tape. But, if
you assemble and disassemble daily
it works well and is much cheaper.

CallAir A9-B muffler by
David Cleveland
Do any of you tow guys out there know where to find a muffler for a CallAir A9-B?
I'm pretty sure the exhaust system is the same for either engine that came with the A-9B. It's probably the same for the A9-A as well, but I'm not sure. This particular airplane has a Lycoming IO-540-G1C5.
