Idea for a story by
jim.lynchehaun
Idea for a story:
Jac Lynch had more than his fair share of problems when working for the
Pee-Bag Company. When he left his job he agreed to have the Corporate
Ombudsman of Pee-Bags's American parent company review his case. What
started out as a human resources issue, became a security crisis...

Need an audio/battery box for a Ball Variometer Model 400/3 by
[email protected]
My friend bought the variometer and not the audio/battery box and has asked me to help him find it on the internet.
Can anyone here help me with this?
I have searched, but it seems the unit is old and no one is that interested in them anymore. He wants it to complete a kit he has been working on...

Hey,
Anyone on here from the Gatineau Gliding Club? I'm going to be taking a 2

another country.
I'm a student pilot living in England and was wondering if getting a flight
or two would be possible at Gatineau, just for the...

Recertify/Reweb Seat Belts/Shoulder Harness by
JimF
Hi, To my untrained eyes my original LS 4 belts look to be in excellent condition. However, they are way past their expiration date.
What do you guys usually do? Replace or Reweb, and if reweb where do you send them? Or just keep them as long as they look good?
Thanks.

Mounting camera on wing of glider by
[email protected]
When any object is attached to the outside of an aircraft it results in an aircraft that no longer conforms to its type design.
14 CFR 3.5(a): "Airworthy means the aircraft conforms to its type design and is in a condition for safe operation".
My guess is the aircraft would not be considered...

LAK17A Canopy Support Tube by
Jimmyz
I was inspecting/adjusting my canopy this week and discovered that the canopy support tube (main shaft that connects canopy to fuselage in the nose) has a severe crack at the base. I was wondering if anyone is aware of another LAK17A (salvaged) that I might be able to find a replacement tube. I've...

Lowest power tow by

What's the lowest power tow plane you've ever seen or towed by? An Examiner of mine said his was a C150 with 100hp. I also once saw paperwork for an 85hp Luscombe to tow.

Inspector for annual on TC's sailplane in Seminole FL airport area? by
JimW
One of the down sides of a type certified sailplane is it requires an
aircraft inspector, not just a mechanic, to do the annual.
These guys are sometimes hard to find.
Anyone know of an inspector in the vicinity of Lake Seminole Gliderport,
Florida , which is about 30 miles west of Orlando?
