Johan Larson
So far, all of my glider launches have been by aero-tow. I would like to
broaden my experience a bit, and try some sort of ground launch. I'm trying

8 hours so far into trying to get washer into pitot tube... by
Bruno[_2_]
Long story short, I decided to go for broke and change out the two
front rubber washers/ O rings in my pitot tube in the tail of my
ASW-20B. Years of dry pitot tubes going in and out had taken their
toll on the washers and they were starting to leak. Reminder to all -
lightly grease your pitot...

FAI GP South Africa 2015 by

I would definitely fly a USA/North American GP - so long as I could find a competitive glider to borrow/rent. Yes, my means keep me stuck in Club Class :-( , but my ambitions are high :-)
You know, there is mostly NOTHING but $$$'s stopping interested US pilots from going overseas and competing...
