Wanted: FRONT nose Trim weights for LS gliders by [email protected]
Does anyone have nose trim weights for their LS-3 up to LS-10 glider that they do not use and would sell to me? They are 2.45 kg = 5.4 lbs each. I need TWO more trim weights for the nose of my LS-8 that I can add when I fly and remove when my husband flies. Thanks. --Cathy

See You Mobile Declared Task Pilot Name by Wade
If see you mobile was registered to someone else and they are letting you borrow their PDA for a badge flight, the name attached to the registration is what gets declared to any other devices linked up (Cambridge 302 for example). I can enter a separate pilot in the Cambridge 302/303 but I don't...

"High Temp" Tape? by Blue Whale
Is there a tape out there for sealing gaps on metal sailplanes that doesn't turn into a sticky mess after exposure to the sun and heat? Would be nice to have a somewhat permanent solution that only needs to be replaced a few times a year on gliders that sit outside assembled for the season.

Pilot with Hypoxia talking with ATC - this ends well by son_of_flubber
The pilot is compromised by hypoxia but still able to declare an emergency and talk to ATC. He descends to 11,000 MSL and regains control. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b97_1409965702 Listening to this refreshed my awareness that the effects of hypoxia can often be incremental and progressive,...

Pipistrel Taurus for training? by macquistan
Hello, All, Does anyone have experience instructing in Pipistrel Taurus, both for ab initio and transition pilots? How durable or fragile of a ship is it? Any thoughts as to how it would compare with an ASK-21MI or a G-103 SL? Thanks much, Dylan
