While glider training and checkrides continued through the winter at
Marfa in west Texas, April marks the start of our "mighty fine" soaring
season.
Bill Snead, John Byrd and Tom McKnight were flying their PW-5's here

A fine ridge day in PA - the Ridge Soaring Irregulars ride again by
QT
Tuesday April 4 produced 9 great flights from the State College, PA
area totaling 9109.7km. There were 5 flights over 1000km including 3
1000km triangles by Richard Kellerman, John Seymour and John Good and
an 1191km broken-leg by Karl Striedieck (new USA open class multi place
O/R record -1130km)....

I am always searching informations about any jet glider.
Has anyone infromations about Russian saiplane A11 (1965 ?) equiped with a
little turbojet, or about US Prue 215 equiped with a "Baby Mamba" Turbojet (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/philippe.bezard/model_p215_main.html) ?

the first NAV computer; who built and used one? by

Before the Cambridge Nav computer came out there were various speed to
fly devices using vario input, achieved rate of climb, altitude etc.
