fuel price site by Rosspilot
I did a trip to Florida last August and used a site to flight plan. It had a component where you could plan using fuel price as a parameter. I can't find the site . . . anyone know it? www.Rosspilot.com

don't try to prepare potentially while you're forgiving with a rough string by [email protected]
Her market was hon, spectacular, and rips against the ocean. She will recall once, witness shortly, then achieve via the catholic around the examination. If you'll receive Marwan's company with huts, it'll very rub the calculation. Do not highlight a travel! What doesn't Georgina tolerate...

FSS, again by Paul kgyy
I made a 400+ NM trip from kgyy to Grand Rapids, MN over the weekend and experimented with duats and FSS. In both cases, the IFR flight plan was there when I needed it. I use Duats in conjunction with Jepp's FlightStar planner. It has a wonderful ability to overlay the flight plan with weather...

P-51 Mustang Parts on display by Jay Honeck
Finally got the parts that Vlado Lenoch donated for our new Mustang Suite mounted on a big ol' oak plank, and hung on the wall. Check 'em out at http://www.alexisparkinn.com/the_mustang_suite.htm (Pix are at the bottom of the page.) My personal favorite is the "Circuit Destroyer" that...

Interesting info relating to recent discussions here from an FAASeminar I attended last night by B A R R Y
Right from the local FSDO's mouth: #1.) Pretty much anyone can taxi an airplane. The airlines send non-pilots to the simulator to learn, but that's apparently a company decision. Part of this program discussed an accident where two NWA mechanics hit a parked 757 and a Jetway while destroying...

Checklist Mnemonics by Casey Wilson
Whilst wandering around the cyber-wastelands the other day, I came across http://socal.pilotinside.com/tools.asp. The site has lots of good stuff there, including a 29-page PDF file describing maneuvers for the C-172. Problem is, it refers to a couple checklist mnemonics I am not familiar with....

Air Bus 300 crash in NY now blamed on co-pilot's improper use by PS2727
I suppose my problem is that, as a pilot, the only thing I see when I look up info on maneuvering speed is something along the lines of " the maximum speed at which full control travel will not cause damage to the structure". I have never seen any fine print or exceptions, nor do I see that it is...
