Whilst wandering around the cyber-wastelands the other day, I came
across http://socal.pilotinside.com/tools.asp. The site has lots of good [free] stuff there, including a 29-page PDF file describing maneuvers for the C-172. Problem is, it refers to a couple checklist mnemonics I am not familiar with. Googling didn't seem to help uncover them. I'm betting someone in our R.A.P. community can unravel them for me. 7-up, 7-down refers to the order in which you make adjustments to the
controls. E.g. 7-down starts with checking engine instruments (top left) then goes right to the yoke, on to carb heat, throttle, mixture and down to trim and fuel valve selection. 7-up starts at the fuel valve and goes the other way around. I have seen variations of which items to include though. |

Too bad Piper didn't follow suit with the Seneca.1
On the "waterfall" panel, you have Landing lights, Nav lts,Strobes, Pitot, and Fuel Pumps. "Jose" wrote in message oups.com...
