This seems to have corrected this problem. I untoggled the "exchange active waypoint" button and the problem of switching back to my start point went away. The system seemed to work OK for the 15M Nationals which I just completed. Thanks for the tip. David Martin ASW 27 BV

Hi Chris, to compare a 15 versus a 18m ship, a flapped to a non flapped glider is not so easy mate. You have to find out what kind of a flying you like. I have an ASW27 and there are several reasons, I for myself would stay with flaps and to some AS specific features like - the flaps in landing...
