Brad[_2_]
Anyone out there know if there have been any sailplane wings made that

Grob 109B engine by
Charles Longley
I am doing an Annual on one that sat for over a year. It needs one new head. After a little research it appears the engine is based on the VW T3/T25 Transporter engine. This head appears to be the correct one- https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/071101351AC
Can anyone with experience confirm it?
Thanks!

E-Concept by
Pat Russell[_2_]
FAI have introduced "E-Concept" to the sport of Gliding. Most of the details are yet to be worked out, but the essence of the concept is that the use of stored energy will be allowed during the credited portion of the flight performance.
Powered flight for credit.
Does this belong in our sport?

Replacing spherical bearings at the wing root? (Grob Astir CS) by
Movses
The spherical bearings that mate to the spar spigots in my Astir CS are binding when turned to larger angles.
When rigging the wings, a slight misalignment of the spigot jams the bearing and any further progress becomes impossible until you pull the wing out and unjam the bearing using a wooden...

Securing glider trailers in shipping containers by

Trac Stick by

So, if this could be made to be "secure" could we use it as a contest,
record, or badge logger?
I sure like the price!

FS iPaq by
Ed Hollestelle
We have some nice iPaq 38XX and 39XX's for sale.
The 39XX has the brighter screen inside but the general consensus is that in
bright (sun) light the 38XX is somewhat better.
A non-glare screen protector also helps.
The 3835 is US $ 300 and the 3950 is 350
Bluetooth models are $ 30.- extra.
