Moving a glider with a U-Haul Truck by [email protected]
Does anybody have any experience moving a Standard/15m class sailplane with a U-Haul truck or similar? I see this as an option for self-retrieving from a *long* straight out XC flight -- no-crew and no returning home to get your trailer (and then back to the glider and back home -- makes me tired...

There is a fantastic Wave Camp coming up Feb 21 - Mar 8, at the Grant County Airport in Petersburg, WV. I have attended a number of camps at this site, and can attest to the high quality of the soaring conditions, the site and the hosting. I will be flying my Lambada motorglider to W99 for the...

Ground Launch Endorsement by Kevin Christner
Any CFIG's within a days drive of Buffalo, NY willing to give a ground launch endorsement. I've found an airport that will let me auto- launch of their 5600 ft runway. This seems to be preferable to 2.5+ hr drives to reasonable glider clubs. TIA 2C

Grob 109 wing pins by BT
In the US, AD 90-02-09 required replacement of the Wing Spar Spigot pins within 500 flights of the AD, even if no cracks were found on ultrasonic inspections. At least for the Grob 103 Twin Astir and 103 variants. So most of that work was completed in 1990-1991. Or Grob 103 Twin II completed the...
