Seaplane motor-glider? by Morgans[_2_]
Anyone ever hear of a seaplane/amphibious motor-glider? I wonder if there is one out there that I have never heard about. If not, what do you all think about the possibility of creating one? Would it be possible to have all of these qualifications in one aircraft? I have toyed with the idea,...

Glider appraisal? by Dave White
My credit union says they will finance 80% of the appraised value of an aircraft. The question is, who appraises gliders? I'm in the Dallas area if anyone knows someone. Thanks!

Oscar Zulu by Uncle Fuzzy
http://www.silentflight.com/ I'm sure this will be one of those things that "Everybody Knows" (except, of course, me). Who was the owner of this glider that painted the swoopy blue stripe and OZ ID? The same paint scheme is on a different glider in "Running On Empty" and "The Quiet...

Compass Correction Card by glider[_2_]
Just for fun...... A long time ago, I was told that a compass correction card is required. I was also told it didn't have to be filled out. That may not be a good idea. No need to upset our FAA friends. GA

Motor-Glider Anecdotes and Stories by Dave Nadler
Due to a last-minute cancellation, SSA asked me to speak at the convention. I'm speaking on "So you think you want a motor-glider". While I have a good supply of motor-glider stories and anecdotes (possibly too many, if you get my drift), I'm looking for more. E-mail me offline if they're too...

Just Too Much Fun! by Charlie Papa
I’m writing from Immokalee Florida, after a day spent with Don Ingraham, of Cross Country Soaring http://crosscountrysoaring.com/ , working on winch launch training. To describe the first launch, the phrase ‘mind blowing’ would be suitable, were it not so over-used, because your mind just cannot...
