Wade

consistency is awesome and not only did he win at Perry but he
literally held the contest lead at Mifflin throughout the entire
event. If that doesn't make you want to hang around Jerzy and learn a
thing or two you are crazy. Nice...

Auto Towing the LVVSA G103 (YouTube video) by
jim wynhoff
The Spring 2012 LVVSA Auto - Tow weekend was, as always, tons of fun!
Auto and Aero tows from Roach Dry Lakebed, between Jean and Primm NV,
in actual soaring conditions! We had the usual great food, bonfire,
and camaraderie. Keith W. made an exceptional batch of dark
chocolate, mint chip ice...

Paul Remde
Hi,
The video below was taken at a Minnesota Soaring Club member meeting a week
or 2 ago. Brian Utley is a soaring pilot and also (as a hobby) validates
world records for the FAI. He was there for one of Steve Fossett's around
the world flights in the jet. The video shows Brian giving an...

and therein lies a large part of the appeal of soaring... by

The writer of the following linked essay reflects on how biking in Manhatten is different from everything else that he does in his life. Substitute "soaring" for "cycling" and enjoy it.

Excerpt from the essay:

glider safety in a negative way.
We published our version of this FAA publication (it is public domain)
back in 2007 with over 1,400 editorial changes - many...

After changing the file name to have its extension “.txt†and not .IGC

files.

That is TEXT editor. Such as the Windows utilities Wordpad.exe or
