Briegleb BG-12B? by
[email protected]
I bought a hangar a while back that has a wood glider project. Fuselage, stab and fin seem pretty much assembled. One wing is a skeleton and there is an assortment of pieces. I have NO PAPERWORK OF ANY KIND except for one badly faded construction drawing on which I was able to make out a model...

Glider pilot tries & dies (flying under a bridge) by
Karen
As kids we watched in awe, the ag pilots flying under the power lines.
Decided not to try it in a SGS 2-22 when we saw him then pull up steep
to miss the tall fence on the other side of the road, do a wing-over,
then repeat it in the opposite direction.
Over-confidence can kill you even when you...

Grob Fuselage FLight Control Cover by
[email protected]
I am searching for a fuselage cover. The cap on the upper left side of
the fuselage that allows access to the flight control connections. The
cover needed is for a Grob 102 Astir CS serial #1503. I think a cover
for any 102 series glider will work. Any information or assistance
would be welcome.

If a club had no hangar space, what aircraft could they use? by
Dan G
Imagine a club in a fairly wet (24" rain a year) temperate climate,
which doesn't have a hangar. What gliders and tugs could they use,
which would be able to survive living outside all year round? I'm
thinking both two-seat trainers (Blaniks?) and single-seaters, and
tugs that could operate off a...

Why I wont buy from Paul by
Guy Acheson
Paul is one of the most dedicated vendors for soaring
that you could find. Considering how small the soaring
community is, and how the soaring community is shrinking...you
should go OUT OF YOUR WAY to do business with Paul
and Tim and Tom because they are investing in a shrinking
market that YOU...

A well-done Glider video by
Michael[_7_]
This was posted on the Condor flight sim forums. I thought it was a
rather well-done gliding video.

It is a compilation of a Swiss pilot's best video from the 2009
soaring season. Amazing landscape. Click the HD button and watch it
full screen if your...

Moving map query by
Martin Gregorie
Has anybody used SoaringPilot on a Palm m100?
If so:
- what are its pros and cons?
- how does the m100 display readability compare with an IPAQ 3630 or
3850 in the cockpit?
TIA,
