New condition. Used 2-3 times. Includes a nice manual. This came with the glider when I bought it and it is redundant in my stable of instruments.

PowerFlarm, ADS-B, GPS again!!! (please don't flame me) by
SoaringXCellence
I know PowerFlarm and ADS-B have been discussed all over the net, but I was thinking today about something that I haven't seen (or been able to find):
We have a PowerFlarm with a (apparently) good GPS system installed, Altitude encoder, and NMEA data stream output.
We have a bunch of ADS-B (out)...

Cambridge 302 versus new ClearNav vario? by
Paul Villinski
ClearNav currently has my 302 for the $350 GPS repair, and now I'm contemplating their new trade-in offer. I've enjoyed flying with the 302 for 10 trouble-free years, with the only complaint being poor wind speed indication.
To former 302 users who have switched to the ClearNav XC vario: is the...

European Glider Classifieds by
Kevin Neave[_2_]
Hi All on this side of the Atlantic.
I tend to monitor the classified ads on segelflug.de, but the volume of
items for sale seems to be less than it was a few years ago.
For example I only think I've seen a single Discus bT, and no D2cT for sale
since autumn 2014.
Have people in Europe found...

High Resolution photos of new VGA version of NK ClearNav by
Paul Remde
Hi,
I just updated my NK ClearNav web page with a high resolution photo of the
new VGA version. I put an image of the 1/4 VGA version next to it for
comparison. It is amazing how much the higher resolution improves the
display of lines and text.

Cambridge 302 learning curve cont. by
Tuno
I flew with mine for the first time today, and it communicated fine with
WinPilot Pro, but I had a problem with the speed-to-fly function. No matter
how bad the sink, now matter how slow I flew, it kept telling me to fly
slower.
Also, the vario needle disagreed wildly with my Borgelt B-40. Like...

LS10 News by
Ed Hollestelle
Contrary to the statement in the Aerokurier LS10 article, the LS10 will be
build as a 15M/18M glider.
We had many calls regarding this and I confirmed with Volker Halbe ( DG
director of sales) this morning !

PDA's Interface by
Ray Lovinggood
Sometimes, I find tapping on the screen of a PDA in
the cockpit a bit of a nuisance. I wish the thing
had 'voice control.'
My finger, not really all that big or fat, sometimes,
doesn't find the 'buttons' just right. Getting the
stylus out is possible, but I was wondering if there
could be a...

flight control failures by
James Hamilton
Not a flight control failure per se but another 'loose'
item jamming a control. Years ago a friend of mine
purchased a used Diamant HBV. He had let me fly it
on several occasions and one day I was flying in especially
turbulent air (lots of rotor). The release knob, wood
and slightly larger than...

Good news! I talked to AC Williams (the former owner of SW Soaring.
and former 1-26 Champion pilot) this morning, and was gratified to hear
that he was feeling well now, and has stopped having to undergo chemo 4
months ago. He is getting his hair back now, and is even considering
updating his...

Aero Retrieval Etiquette by
Ray Lovinggood
Question: At what point should the glider pilot release
from the aero retrieve?
I, not wanting to land out more than once on any given
day, prefer to consider the tow pilot and make sure
HE or SHE is within gliding distance of the target
airport before releasing.
Just wondering what the proper...
