nano + bluetooth gives problems by [email protected]
Hi, I'm having problems using bluetooth on my nano as a GPS source for navigation. Basically it works but the nano freezes every now and then for up to 1,5 to 2 minutes. In that case the leds stay off or on and the nano does not respond to the switch/button anymore. The navigation device looses...

Nano 4 by [email protected]
Anyone have Nano 4 flight experience? Wondering about it's FLARM presentation; does it equal or better a LX Flarmview? Thanks.

Nano 4 from Craigy Aero by Waveguru
I have purchased 2 Nano 4s from Craggy Aero and both of them have had serious problems. The first one developed a charging problem where it said it was fully charged, but it wasn't, and it would go dead during the flight, and the second Nano 4 has now had the screen go almost completely dark,...

Nano 4 GPS BAD/0 satellite reception by HoUdino
Is anyone else having problems getting GPS reception with the Nano4? I’ve tried everything I can think of...returned it to the factory, left it on to an open sky for long periods of time, multiple reboots, upgraded software. Still, more often than not “BAD/0”. Quite frustrating! Lars T

Nano 4 vs Colibri X ? by Jonathan St. Cloud
Has anyone had the opportunity to play or fly with both? Wondering about the pro's and con's of each. Both same price, any features that would set one apart from the other?

Nano declarations by Mike C
I recently updated my Nano and now can not declare tasks with XCSoar. Anyone else have the same problem? Worked fine before the upgrade. 3 out of 4 declaration attempts it fails and when XCSoar notes the declaration is valid, there is no declaration in the Nano. I tend to think the problem is with...

Nano Eliminated Takeoff Location by Bob Youngblood
Took a flight yesterday and tried to upload. All of the information was on the Nano except it did not record the takeoff location and will not allow me to upload. I guess the internal GPS in the unit failed to pick up the coordinates. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bob

Nano GPS issue by [email protected]
So I'm having a problem with my Nano this season. It will power on and I get the left most LED blinking as expected. The issue is that I never get the second LED blinking to indicate that the GPS is happy. I've left it powered on outside for over an hour and still only the one LED. The Nano...

Nano logging issues by Tony[_5_]
On a few recent flights I have had some issues with my Nano "freezing up" in flight. I have a Nano connected to my Oudie with the Socket mobile power pack and a goddard cable. Usually it has worked flawlessly with no issues noted. Last two flights at some point the Oudie moving map display...

nano troubles by [email protected]
My Nano suddenly started acting up. The computer won't recognize it and keeps giving a mass storage device malfunction message. We've tried different cables and computers with the same results. You can take the chip out and download the flights fine, the computer just won't recognize the Nano. ...

Hey all, my Nano-3 is up to date and worked fine a few weeks ago. Trying to charge it for tomorrow, it continues to DISCHARGE when plugged in to factory wall charger, brand x wall charger, and through PC/USB, both with unit shut down and while up and running. Started at over 20% battery but it...

HI Folks, Failing to download files from a Nano4 - I have searched back through the forum and found some similar threads but no solution. When I connect my Nano4 to a PC, it turns on, but the PC doesn't see it (in some cases it recognizes there is a USB device attached, but can't see any file or...

nanoburst by [email protected]
It's not a meteorological phenomenon. It's what happens when the battery in my Nano logger decided to swell up. The case of the nano has been deformed for some time, but I thought it was just sitting in the hot sun on top of the panel causing the case to distort. A few days ago I heard a sharp...
