My plane Featured in "Aeroplane" by Orval Fairbairn
Just before Sun N Fun, I met up with Geoffrey P. Jones, a UK aircraft photographer/writer, for some air-to-air shots of my 1946 Johnson Rocket 185. I put him in the back seat of a friend's Yak 52 for the shots, which turned out pretty well. His work is on Page 60 of the British magazine Aeroplane.

Thank you for the excellent info on parts availabilty. On a similar topic, are there any maintenance trouble spots on the older Navions? I was told that the hydraulic system is leaky or troublesome. Is this true, how bad a problem is it and are there any other areas of concern?
