I too joined the club in February 1973,up at the camp. Not really knowing what I was facing,Lee seemed to be a straight forward, although who knew, and no one was giving up secrets. I witnessed many strange occurrences, and at 15 who would realize that we were under his commands. We as young innocent...

AVIATIONTOOLBOX: how I convert sectional maps to map chunks by Kyler Laird
For the past few weeks, I've been obsessed with manipulating the newly- available (from the FAA) raster sectional images. This is all new to me so I've just been banging out code trying to get something reasonable. The code is *horrible* and I don't recommend it as anything beyond an example of...

Embraer seating by marc
Have a trip coming up via Continental Express on an Embraer RJ135. Haven't seen one. From a seating chart online, it looks like the front two seats on the right side will have more leg room. I'm 6' 5" and dread the cramped seating. It also look like the seats in front of the over wing emergency...

Anyone know what happened to Sky Life Flying Camp? by [email protected]
Harold Kruger 89-92,pre-paid lost money. The only weird crap that happened to me. I missed a few scheduled flights and Lee brought me into the office and verbally reprimanded me. At the time I had a few jobs and my time management skills were lacking. I said I was sorry and will try to be better....

WAC vs Sectional by [email protected]
I currently subscribe to the Airchart IFR and sectional service. I was looking at changing to the WAC and IFR service. What exactly is the difference between the WAC and sectional charts? Do the WACs show all the MOAs/restricted/etc areas? Are all the same airports listed? Thanks
