Met a very well-marked High School student today who wants to do flying as a career.
He has one problem, he is red-green color blind. He believes that the services will not take him as a military pilot, but he would still love to fly. Are there airlines or cargo carriers who will take a color-blind pilot? Also, do any services make allowances for color-blindnesses in drone pilots? I hadn't even considered the possibility until today, but was wondering if I could clue him on to something. I asked him to check with airlines, etc. to see what is out there, as well as at the local general aviation airport. David |
