Paint question by Brian Bange[_2_]
I just bought an ASW20B that was refinished in DuPont Imron back in '93 by Fred Jiran. The paint is in surprisingly good condition for its age, but there are lots of small spots where hangar rash needs to be fixed. There are also some slight dings in the wing skins on the bottom that...

winglet weight by Brad[_2_]
I just made a set of winglets using 7725 and a core material called Soric SF. I used the resin infusion process. The other day I bonded the skins together and a few days later, with much excitment, I split the molds apart and liberated the parts. I gotta say, these are some nice looking parts,...

BB/WSJ in the news by Ed Byars
Congrats to BB (John Cochrane) for the lead article on the Opinion page of the Wall Street Journal this morning! It is a great piece but after reading it I still am in doubt as to what to do financially. I "got out" 2000 Dow points ago (10,000) and am clueless as to what to do now with my money...

Wet and dry sandpaper by [email protected]
A friend showed me some wet and dry sandpaper rolls which has adhesive on the back. It comes in 25 meter rolls and they will cut it to any width you want. You simply cut the length to fit your sanding block and peel off the plastic covering and then it sticks to your sanding block. Its very good...

looking for canopy window by Brad[_2_]
I am looking for a sliding window with a pop-out vent and guide rails. It's time for me to boldly cut a hole in my virgin canopy and install the window bits. I know new ones are available, but perhaps someone has a set of this stuff from a wrecked sailplane?? Thanks, Brad www.hpaircraft.com

SN-10b EW flight recorder/PDA combination by Jim Archer
Is anyone driving their SN-10b with an EW flight recorder? I'd like to go with this combination, and possibly add a PDA as well. I think I want it because it allows me to not bring a laptop to the airport, I have a partner and we can each have our own SD card and don't have to hassle with...

Glider flight software on non PDA devices- soon. by brianDG303
Lots of us run flight software on a PDA and complain about the dim and hard to read screen and can't help noticing those big bright GPS's we get to drive around with. It looks like SeeYou Mobile will soon run on some GPS platforms and it's now in beta running on the HP IPAQ 310 (Travel Companion)...

XC Soar and iPaq 310? by Brad[_2_]
I would like to see the XC Soar guys jump on this and port their XC Soar program to the iPaq 310. I have been mulling over the GPS/NAV solutions for the HP-24 and this looks very promising. I think perhaps the Tasman with the data module, in conjunction with the 310/XC Soar would be a good choice...
