Brian[_1_]
I just read the artical below in an old AMA magazine. It wouldn't take

Alby at Jean by
Jay McDaniel
Alby tried to leave Jean today but had difficulties gettin above 8000 ft to
leave the valley.
At the end of the day Mark took Alby to Mt Charleston for a nice tour there.
Tomorrow another pilot will try to get Alby to Coyote Springs.

I've been using Parallels to run Windows on my MacBook laptop so I can
run SeeYou and I've found it works really well and at very good speed.
More recently I've tried one of the WINE implementations, called
Crossover:

[email protected]
Should anyone need a crew for the contest, I am available. Live in
Texas but could be in Ephrata at start of practice. I am very familiar
with the contest area as in the past I flew several contests there and
flew there for pleasure for 25 years. Lynn Wyman (AKA The Snake Angler)

New Lift Source by
Tony Condon[_2_]
I just came across this on the web and thought that RAS might enjoy it.
perhaps this could be used on crummy days at contests and the CD could
just call a local duration task.

Private Postage with a Glider by
RRK
For some time it is possible to design and order your custom made mail
stamps. Many glider pilots did create the stamps with a glider picture
on it. I'm a stamp collector and I would love to know and see all of
them. Please respond. It is so difficult to get any information on
such a small scale...
