What is the best point to jack up a Cobra Trailer ? by [email protected]
I changed a wheel in my Cobra trailer with the glider inside. I located the Jack just under the corner between the bottom and side wall, next to the fender. Looked flimsy, but held fine, no bending of wall or edge. Was I lucky or is this the right place to do it ? Dan

Is SKEW-T still important to soaring pilots ? by [email protected]
Having used XC skies and now Topmeteo, I wonder what's the need to get the forecasted SKEW -T diagram to points along your task. Will you as, a pilot, get any better prediction of soaring conditions if you use both ? Dan

Thinking about buying a DG400 by [email protected]
Hi everyone I'm thinking about buying a DG400 and I'm looking for opinions. It would be my first self launching glider and I would appreciate any advise. I've seen the market and the price range between 50.00 and 56.000€ with about 140 to 200h engine hours. I've been reading these days a lot...

Missed anniversary (Damn!) by [email protected]
Somehow the date of 11/11 has slipped by without my noting it, and celebrating appropriately, that date marking three years since the last time my foot stepped into a cockpit, also the last time my wallet was totally empty. HOWEVER, not being one too proud to celebrate later rather than...
