Trailer Vent Fan by
JJ Sinclair[_2_]
I just checked two trailer vent fans and both were dead. With a little checking I found one had a dead battery and the other had a bad motor. They are both made by NICR and are day/night fans which employ a battery that charges all day, so it can run all night. Why did the battery go dead? I...

Trailer ventilation by
Simon Waddell
I live in central Europe - where the weather is neither too hot nor too
cold.
Seems to me that in the not too distant past many people fitted little solar
powered extractor fans to their trailers to improve ventilation. Looking
round our club trailer park the other day I noted that only one out...

Trailer wanted by
JJ Sinclair
I have a buyer for my ASW-20 re-build project, but he needs a trailer
to act as a shipping container, if nothing else (read; it doesn't have
to be in great shape) Hopefully in Western US, I'm in Placerville, CA.
Thanks,
JJ Sinclair

trailer wheels won't turn by
chris
I have an older Komet trailer with newer axel. I parked the trailer
about 2 months ago and it was working fine at the time. Now the
wheels are immobile. I even tried to pull it with my car and the
wheels just dragged across the pavement.
In the dark of night I could not figure out if somehow...

Trailer wind deflector by
Adam
More trailer-talk....
I have a Minden-Fab / Scheder-style trailer and tow with a 200hp V6
station wagon. The front "barndoor" of the trailer is about 1.5 to 2
feet higher than the roofline of the car. The whole setup feels draggy
on the road. 65 mph is about the limit before I feel like I am...

Trailering a Glider through Canada by

A permanent Registration Certificate is required to fly a US registered aircraft in Canada. Anyone know if a glider can be trailered through Canada with only a temporary Registration Certificate?

Trailering and rigging tools by
[email protected]
A friend from Tucson showed up at Fidel's shop for some work on his Discus2b and it was discovered that the black plastic tool that fits into the end of the wing tip for both rigging as well as trailering had broken in two. I examined the ones I have for my Discus and discovered evidence of...

Trailering with added bike rack? by

I see there are draw bar adapters/extensions that enable mounting a bicycle rack plus your standard hitch ball for coupling the trailer, e.g:

trailers: fiberglass vs. metal by
Yuliy Gerchikov
What is the conventional wisdom on fiberglass top trailers? I've never had
any experience with one. Should I keep it this way and stay away from it by
all means? Or is it OK, really, and not much worse than Al top? How long do
they last and how much maintenance require? What are the pros and cons...

Train Wreck by
XC
Dang! Got drawn in again!
I’m ashamed to admit I have been following Sean Fidler’s “why didn’t I get chosen” rants on Facebook. It is hard to look away from a train wreck I guess. I am embarrassed for him. I've never seen someone take a decision so badly. So much misinformation and so...

Trainer built in Florida? by
GM
Hi all in US-glider land!
I am just curious: what happened to the rebirth of the Polish Kr-03
trainer, which was supposed to be built by a company in Florida?
With the Euro growing stronger and stronger against the US$ and the
aging fleet of 2-33, I thought there would be a good market for this
US...

Trainer options for Big, (and fat), guys by
Jon S
Hi,
I go about 6'4" 250lbs when I'm in shape, which I'm currently not.
I know there are other threads on this topic, but none seem recent, (i.e., withing several years), so I'm wondering if there are any new recommendations out there for models that would suit someone like me.
I can drop some...
