Does anyone know of nice, residential airparks in good soaring areas that would be accommodating of gliders? Western US, Northeast US, whatever.....I need to come back to the US and find a soarable place to live, without having to commute to an airfield.

What do you guys think: is it feasible for one guy with a 2 seat motorglider to offer glider rides as a part time business; just to earn a bit of spare cash? Do you know anyone doing this who is not part of a larger commercial soaring operation or schoool? Would appreciate your thoughts.

The aft wing locks on my Grob G102 are just about at their limits and it looks like I will be installing oversize bearings to correct this. Does anyone have experience doing this and if so, how difficult of a job is it? Tim
