Looking for HP14 Plans by
[email protected]
Does anyone out there have a set of hp14 plans gathering dust in some back corner of your garage or hangar? I could sure use them to help in a restoration project. I would buy them or pay to have them scanned or pay for shipping postage from anywhere .
Thanks, Dan

Wanted Open Class Trailer by
[email protected]
I've got to move a 17 meter ship and I'm looking for a trailer. Fitting and condition doesn't really matter as I can rebuild it if needed. If you have something that can accept 17 meter wings or know of one stuffed in someones hanger or hiding in the grass please drop me a line.
Thanks Guys

As an old fart who has returned to soaring after many years hiatus, I want to thank all you guys for your posts. The info shared here (with proper BS filtering of course) has been indispensable in helping me to get up to speed with the modern soaring scene.

Anyone flying at Stanton this weekend? by
[email protected]
Hey all you minneapolis MN guys, is anyone going to be flying out at Stanton this weekend? I'm hauling my 1-26 with me up to ND and would like to take a xc jaunt or two this weekend on my way through. It looks like a downwind run may be in the works.

1000km in 1-26 by
[email protected]
Right now Ron Schwartz is on course for a 1000km attempt out of Blairstown NJ in his schweizer 1-26. Who says you need glass or high L/D to go far.
You can track his flight on the ssa.org live tracker. Go Ron!

1-26 Utilization and Participation by
[email protected]
I would like to put out all call to all the clubs out there who still operate a 1-26. If you have new members just getting started with an interest in cross country soaring, your lowly club 1-26 can be a real economical tool for them.
The 1-26 Association has numerous awards to incentivize xc...

While we’re lauding service to the gliding community consider
this: (Thanks Tim on another thread)
I have had my MRX for several years, and have never seen an indication

Conspicuity Tape / Visibility Markings by
AGL
Hi;
We spend a lot of time discussing electronic collision avoidance
devices, and advice to keep a good lookout. To help the situation we
could also make our aircraft more visible to those what are keeping
that good lookout. Isn't some sort of visibility marking required in
Europe?
A search of...

Parachute Comfort by
AGL
Given that I've got another 15-20 years of flying left, I was thinking of getting a new parachute since my current one won't last that long anyway and I might as well replace it and get a more comfortable one. ;-)
Of those sold by Strong, National, and Para-Phernalia, it appears that they are all...
