LX5000 vs LX7000 by [email protected]
Since I’m on a tear asking things I always wondered about (it’s snowy here) I’ve always wondered what the difference is between the last version of the LX5000 and the LX7000? Was it a marketing decision or were there actual improvements?

Newbie checking in. by 914Driver
Hello all, I didn't see anything like an "Introductions" column, so I apologize if this is out of line. I recently purchased a modified Libelle and I love it. Wil Shuemann did the modifications in the 1980s, it's now a 40:1 ship. I would like to gain more information on these gliders, how many...

Cambridge, SeeYou, and OLC by Ray Lovinggood
A friend uses a Cambridge model 20 (or 25?) gps and made two flights last Sunday. The first flight didn't last long and he took a relight. When he used SeeYou to submit the flight to OLC, it was rejected (I don't know if SeeYou rejected it or OLC) because, according to him, 'too much time...

Discus 2 hits white mountains by Jonathan St. Cloud
Anyone have any more details on the Discus 2 that hit high on the White Mountains? The pilot was recovered with minor injuries, thank goodness. For those flying the Inyo's, Whites or other mountains, it is worth reading Henry Coombs Article and JJ"s article "Don't smack the mountain".
