This is a case where the registration files can be particularly difficult to
use, since most BG-7s were apparently homebuilts. For example: a homebuilt
Briegleb BG-7 built by John Doe might be registered as a "Doe BG7"-

Also, the sailplane directory mentions that modifications were common, including
spoilers, cockpit mods, fuze lengthening, and vertical fin mods. The bottom
line is that there may be several BG-7s in the USA hiding under assumed names
and obscured with clever disguises.
