Default Getting current after several years.

It has been nearly 10 years since currency (I have commercial/
instrument sel) so I am wanting to purchase some software for the
purpose of re-learning & refreshing that which has lain dormant &
corroding.

I'd like to get current all the way through my commercial/instrument

Has anyone here been in a similar situation as I?

When I got out of the Marines in 1954 and went back to school, with four
kids, then a mortgage, etc., I couldn't afford to fly. Seventeen years
later, when my kids had grown up, I could.

In the period I had not flown, the VOR and the ILS, which I had never
seen, replaced the Adcock range and the ADF approach.

It took me 12 hours in a Cherokee to learn new new navaids and regain my
IFR rating.

You should not have any problems, and I doubt you need to get any
software, unless you hope to relearn instrument procedures on a computer.
