Washington to North Dakota:

But I imagine it is still legal to fly from Mackinaw City to St Ignace! -ted/2NO Get the best and most current airspace data on the planet at www.justsoar.com |

My pleasure Dave
![]() A note to anyone interested in these (justsoar.com) border/airspace files: there are other airspace/border files available for the US borders, and have been for a long time. The difference twixt these and those is these are not an open sequence of points. SeeYou (not sure about other apps but I suspect they're the same) will attempt to close the open sequence if you add one of those as an airspace, which results in an incorrect rendering of the "border". "These" files fix the problem by adding fictional points on the no-fly side of the boundary, creating a moat of sorts. This makes them useful for US pilots, and useless for pilots trying to stay out of the US. Choose the files that solve your particular problem, be they those or these. 2NO |
