"Raytheon has received a boost in the
race to develop a successor to two of its most successful missiles - the AIM-120 AMRAAM and the AGM-88 high-speed anti-radiation missile (HARM). The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded the company a $21 million deal to start developing the triple target terminator (T3) missile, a long-range weapon designed to be carried internally by stealth fighters." See: http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...placement.html http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2010...nator-missile/ Is this going to end up being a "jack of all trades, master of none" type of weapon that will end up being too expensive to procure? |
