Slow moving baggage handlers?? Bruce Grease from the flap actuators. They are screws that run out the flaps when the electric or hydraulic motors are told to move the flaps. The lubricant is fully exposed to the wind when flaps are out the grease will blow back against the leading edge of the flap and spread then run off the flap as showing in this picture. DF |
