Default Particularly remarkable sporting performance in gliding

All gliding pilots in U.S.A. should make sure that our dear SSA will
try to make Ron Schwartz the next Otto Lilienthal Medal recipient.
967.07km in 1-26..........any questions?

A few come to mind, actually...
1) Where?
2) How was he able to sit in a cramped 1-26 cockpit so long? (okay,

3) What happened to the parade and newspaper announcements about such
a great flight?
