I just soloed a Schweizer 2-33 on my 14th birthday! It was the very last day of
operations for the Windy City Soaring Association (11/28/04) and I was the last flight of the season. I was amazed how much nicer the 2-33 seemed to fly solo (or maybe it was just me). A special thank you goes out to all who have purchased my contest photos at races around the U.S. and also to those who have purchased items from my “I Want to FLY!” store (www.cafepress.com/iwanttofly). You have helped fund my lessons and made this whole aviation thing possible for me. I can’t wait for next season! Thanks! Trace Lewis |

Congrats! The "Scoop" is what I soloed in when I was 16. It is pretty awesome when you look behind you and you don't see anyone there. -John *You are nothing until you have flown a Douglas, Lockheed, Grumman or North American* |
