I'm spending a month vacationing in Dublin, Ireland. I was wondering
if anyone here could recommend a relatively close-by glider club. I don't think I'll be here often enough to justify getting a BGA- acceptable medical, even though I'm rated in the US, but I'd still like to take a flight to check out what soaring activity is like on this side of the pond. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! |

The Dublin Gliding Club at Gowran Grange near Naas. About 40 minutes drive
from central Dublin. Derek Copeland At 21:40 08 July 2009, Ryan Spicer wrote: I'm spending a month vacationing in Dublin, Ireland. A bit of a trek, but really worth a visit to the Ulster GC, in the north of
Ireland. I visited for a whole summer (many yrs ago) and was made very welcome. david. http://www.ulsterglidingclub.org/ At 04:15 09 July 2009, Derek Copeland wrote: The Dublin Gliding Club at Gowran Grange near Naas.
