I was especially pleased to see PSM across the bay featured several times with its ITAWT ITAWA PUDYE TTATT IDEED (I thought I saw a puddy-cat--I did!). -- all the best, Dan Ford email: usenet AT danford DOT net Warbird's Forum: www.warbirdforum.com Piper Cub Forum: www.pipercubforum.com In Search of Lost Time: www.readingproust.com |

Where can I get the list. I do not have the WSJ! Well, it's not a list but an "A-hed" feature, so it's written for laughs (mild laughs) rather than information. The A-hed used to run each day in the fourth column of six gray columns on the front page of the journal (counting left to right). The design has been loosened up a lot in recent years, but the the story still has the tradition "A" heading (an upside-down U framing the headline, suggesting an A) and still begins in column four and is still amusing. But it no longer runs every day. WSJ writers compete for the privilege of writing the A-hed. Naturally there are pilots among them, so once in a while it's aviation-related. Perhaps that was more than you wanted to know about A-hed? -- all the best, Dan Ford email: usenet AT danford DOT net Warbird's Forum: www.warbirdforum.com Piper Cub Forum: www.pipercubforum.com In Search of Lost Time: www.readingproust.com |
