I just bought a Helio Courier H295, so I am a student pilot again

until I
get a tailwheel endorsment. The plane is going to get here

Saturday.
'can't wait!

I presume you will put tractor tires, and (real!) diesel train horns on it,
kinda like this one?:

;-)

(It sounded WAY cool when flying over, air horns blaring!)

I saw that one at OSH, it was probably the most photographed plane there!
Having an airplane that carries 120 gallons and burns 75GPH doesn't appeal
to me much.

Sandpoint! That's a fantastic place to own a Helio Courier. I just
got back from Central Idaho and could have used one last weekend.
You're in for a lot of fun. I envy you

Yay! Those are such cool planes.

It's, um, quite different from an MU2.

Did he buy the one from Montana Floats?

I don't think so. He originally saw it somewhere, Washington state
comes to mind, when the original builder was building it. This guy was
going blind and the workmanship was really bad. It eventually sold to
another guy who fixed everything that the first guy did wrong. My buddy
traded his Ag Cat for it a couple weeks ago. The Rebel is red and white
with the words super rebel painted on the cowl.

OSH. All I bought at OSH were sheetmetal tools and I am really looking
forward to building the Moose.

Buddy of mine is building a Moose. Last week he bought a Super Rebel,
has the 260 HP Lyc. Lots of space on the inside but considerably slower
than his 185, says he gets about 135 mph. Looks nice with the 8.50
tires. His other one will have the 360 HP Russian radial engine.
