First Visit to Oshkosh

THis will be my first year making the treck to Oshkosh. I am a
non-pilot that is getting the bug again. What are absolute "must
see's"

BTW, if HamGuy is a true ham, the common ham field frequency is 2-meter
146.52 simplex. There is a repeater if you like, but contact the special
station on 52 to get the frequency and the PL.

Aviation band on the field (listen a lot, talk a little) is 123.5. This is
NOT a chatter frequency.

The CGS Hawk Tent. It's become the defacto Rec.Aviation.Homebuilt
rest stop.

I wouldn't miss it. Is he bringing blackberry muzzleloader this time?

Certainly it's not official, and I don't think anyone has proclamed it
exists at all (except me, a few minutes ago). But it's where I keep
running into RAH scum.

Chuck is on the north side of the Ultralight area spaces 555 and 556.

Shade, a cooler, the occasional taste of Muzzleloader, patio chairs
and a fat Polish man with a harmonica. It's what makes Oshkosh
special for me.

Hamguy... the MUST sees are Aeroshell Square and main exhibit buildings
/ outdoor exhibits. Highly recommended are the afternoon air show,
forums. EAA Museum and vintage, warbirds or ultralight areas (depending
on your preference).
