My radio does! However when you key up on 34-94 all you hear is
squeal from 50 repeaters at the same time. :-(
146.52 works VERY well into a 10,000 ft high antenna with 1db coax
loss.

34-10-4 as we call it around here isn't much better on the ground :-)

Repeater operation is going to be a problem in most parts of the country
on 2 meters. Just far too congested. Simplex is the way to go in the air.

This brings up a question I hadn't thought of.
Are there FCC/FAA rules regrarding operation
HAM radios from experimental aircraft.

Only FAR 91.3 and 91.21. Other than that, the FCC could give a rat's hiney less
where the radio is so long as the operator has the appropriate class of amateur
license for the mode being used.
