New CFII
Just bragging. I passed my CFII checkride today. That should be the last one
for a good long while. Had to do a DME Arc. Ugh. I haven't done one of those since... well *my* IFR checkride. :-) Time for bed... -- CP-ASEL, instrument, CFII

Before the test, I saw that the airport I was going to do the ride at, had a
VOR/DME arc approach. I sat down with Flight Sim & tried the approach. Completely blew right through the turn inbound & kept going on the arc. Finally caught it. I certainly didn't make THAT mistake on the checkride. I knew Flight Sim was good for something other than starting flame wars.... :-D Well, I'm off for my first instructing in our FBO's FTD sim.
