Very interesting to see Chip Garner in the 15m Duck Hawk winning the
day in what appears to be relatively weak conditions. Span-limited in
comparison to many of the ships with longer legs, he was nearly 10%
faster in raw speed than KS, who is leading in a Duo.

Second fastest raw speed was Antares 20E with short 18-meter tips ;-)
9.5 lbs doesn't seem to be a problem in weak conditions ;-))

A wonderful glider for sure, Dave.

Let's not forget that Chip is a great competition pilot and a master tactician. That may have had a bit to do with his winning the day ;-)

Those of who can should go all out and support Windward Performance and the Duckhawk by buying one today, if I could I would. If you want to win this will be the sailplane to fly as was proven last year and no doubt will prove it's self again this year. Help show the world what a small American company can do.

It is amazing that a USA made sailplane from a small company, in the US, is so competitive. The Duck Hawk does appear to be a cutting edge racing saiplane. Wish I had the money to buy one and the skills to utilize it properly..
